For the remainder of the night, FFBMCO owners are urged to put Europe’s Final Countdown on repeat and just insert the term “one week” for the word “final” to experience a real life social commentary in musical form.
Many owners leaguewide have reached out in anger over Conneaut Joe’s beautifully crafted Golden Boy Farm roster. There is so much anger and rage that his 5 keepers are all first rounders. So Joey, it appears you are painted as the 2015 FFBMCO villain and everyone is gunning for you. I’m sure you love that, and I hope it inspires all kinds of off the wall metaphors, analogies and historical references.
The September side contest will be valid from Week 1-Week 3. It’s underlying message is to drive home the importance of our annual league draft. Therefore, the DRAFTED player (not a kept player, not a Free Agent/waiver acquisition) who has the most Yahoo points by month end will earn his FFBMCO owner a white tshirt with the FFBMCO logo screen printed on it. You can wear this to the club, to the gym, to Cedar Point Halloweekends…anywhere you want so you can rep yo league. If the total on that natural cotton/un-natural pheromone garmet doesn’t hit the $25 mark, other items will be added as needed.
Everyone get your rosters tidied up for opening week and lets have a helluva season.
The FFBMCO Cares department of the league also acknowledges major owner life events. On that note, 3 more FFBMCO babies have entered the realm of life since spring. 2014 3rd place winner Brian Crescenzo (Off the Team) is now a proud papa to baby Lyla, who hopefully will love and embrace Kent State as much as her dad, and both FFBMCO creators loined out sons to take over this league when their dads are too senile. Shaun Herrick (Chesty McDoon’s) introduced Stan to all the Herrick cats in June
and Brian Lilley-Longville’s (FunkyEngineThatCould) first chitlin hatched Monday as Rufio’s little brother Julian was born
This league should continue to operate long after we perish, and it’s an utter delight that our original group of 20 are still doing their thing.
