Like a hungry Jason Voorhees on the Crystal Lake property, the trade deadline is bearing down our souls. And it happens to be Friday the 13th. 11:59 PM Pacific time is creeping it’s way closer and closer to our rosters. Let this be a formal notice/warning to all owners to wheel & deal furiously to get deals done at the last minute.

On a semi-related note, here are some bullet points to load in your banana clips:

-For the remainder of this season, the Backup QB Insurance Rule will remain in effect as is and always was. The league will make sure that if a QB goes down, and an owner requests their (available) backup, it will be done regardless of what the injury report status is.
-After the whirlwind of owner feedback after the QB Inheritance attention grabber, for NEXT season, a league-wide vote will be cast to determine if a change should be instituted. The 4 choices will be:

a) Status Quo (Existing QB Insurance Policy remains in effect, league grants requests regardless of injury report status)

b) QB Inheritance Rule (Each roster only carries 1 QB at a time on their team, with bye week exceptions where one of the 10 unrostered starting QBs are plugged in for that week, and the 2nd and 3rd string QBs of the starting QBs’ NFL team

c) Auction instead of waiver preference (There is no waiver priority and no QB insurance rule. Each owner will get $100 designated within Yahoo that can be used for player transactions throughout the season and the highest bidder wins. Waiver placement would come into play for tying bids between owners)

d) Laissez Faire (No rules/interference at all,any owner can pick up any available player at any time)

***Please note there are no roster restrictions in choices a,c & d. There are roster restrictions in choice b.

The polls on this will open on Thanksgiving and remain open until all 20 votes are cast.
-Once again, we are still on Yahoo’s simple platform so you can all have your precious app. The big knock about it is that it doesn’t understand our playoff structure, so we will need to manually apply matchups and or scores if needed. Just as a reminder, the 2 division winners of each conference are guaranteed the top 4 spots, and then the 2 non division winning teams from each conference make up the additional 4 wild card spots.
If the playoffs started today, the Frowns matchups would be:
1 Lord of the Reamed v 4 Default Team Name
2 Best in the World v The Replacements
And the Clowns matchups would be:
1 The Golden Boy Farm v 4 Dirt Mane
2 FunkyEngineThatCould v King of Cleveland
