    Commissioner

Thanks to the owners who gave their two cents at the end of last year. Here is what was gathered:

    1. A losers bracket.
-Because we’re still handcuffed to the Yahoo platform which is super rigid and won’t let us do exactly what we want, we have to rig the playoffs and can’t even always make the real life opponents play each other in Yahoo. Locking all non postseason rosters keeps things as orderly as possible for the playoffs and league officials need to focus on making the postseason as smooth as possible so can’t dedicate more time and effort in organizing something for non playoff teams. This is to be as close of a microcosm as possible to the actual NFL and when an organization doesn’t make the playoffs their season is over and no action is needed until draft strategizing for the following season. All that said, if there are any ideas out there on this topic let your voice be heard.

    2. A rules summary on the homepage.
-Done, great idea. We have the Scoring and Rules button up top now for reference (Shakira voice) Wherever! Whenever!

    3. Have the entire league fully paid before the draft.
-Well tried, and improved. The bad news is there were still some stragglers. The good news is the 3 strike policy will eventually weed stragglers out so hopefully one majestic day, we will all be owners in a league where deadlines are met. You know, the way real life operates.

    4. Bigger entry fee.
-As you’re all aware, the entry fee remained the same for this season. It seems like some people feel strongly in upping the ante, and some people feel strongly in keeping it as is. This will be polled again at the end of this season and then the 2016 3rd Commissioner candidates will have to answer how they feel about this, so the league owners can actually vote on substantial things instead of just a name of a person you may or may not know.
