Extra! Extra! Grind all about it!
There were two candidates this year, A and B.
Kindly soak in their info and cast your vote.

Let’s start light. Tell us a joke…

A – A man is getting a checkup.

Doctor: “You have to stop masturbating.”

Man: “Why?”

Doctor: “Because I’m trying to examine you.”

B – What do you call a horny four sided shape?
…an ERECTangle!

1.If you were hosting a party, what would your opening song on the playlist be?

A – Kingdom – Downstait. Because FFBMCO has more than one, Royal family.

B- My house by Flo Rida(fun fact if you smush his name together you learn what state he is from!)

2.If you could pick 3 other people alive or dead to sit down with you for dinner, who would you choose and why?

A – Michael J Fox – his stories from the 80s would be interesting. Robin Williams for the comedy and good conversations. Betty White cause it’s Betty White.

B – Hmmm. Dennis, Mac, and Charlie. Hopefully they would make the night lead to Dee and Frank as well. And why? I want to go on an adventure with some wildcards.

3.At a very general level, how do you handle conflict?

A- Focus on the future: Try to move past positions and focus on a solution.

B – Politely and indecisively.

4.Read any good books lately? What was the last book that you read?

A – I plan on being elected to lead not to read.

B – Lol I’m in the midst(chapter 17!) of percy jackson. My daughter read it and begged me to read it because she loves the series and wants someone to talk to about it. I admit im doing the audio book while chorin. Its simple and entertaining. Worth a quick read if you are so inclined.

5.What is FFBMCO’s biggest strength?

A – The consistency of having the same owners come back year after year and majority of us have an understanding how to win in this league.

B – Legacy! This league is approaching legendary status and not losing steam anytime soon! Its the hot club to be at. The restaurant with a 2 year wait list. You get my drift. Its a point of pride to be in this league!

6.What is FFBMCO’s biggest weakness, and thoughts/ideas on how to address said weakness?

A – There are 25 gentlemen in this league (interviewer note – there are 20 gentlemen) and I probably could pick six of you out of a lineup. We have been doing this for a long time together. I feel biggest weakness that we don’t know who anyone is so there isn’t any trust when it comes to trades. I would love a midseason meet up at some central location. I know there are some in this league that aren’t in Northeast Ohio but we can get the majority together on a NFL Sunday for the 1pm games make some fun side bets, and just bond.

B – Annual ideas to keep things exciting and not get stale. I think we are mature enough that the rules arent nearly the point of issue they used to be. So instead what can we do annually that keeps the heart and soul of the league but also provides new and exciting things too. I also want to say this isnt a weakness but moreso an opportunity. (References my SWOT analysis )

7.Do you have any ideas on monthly prizes that haven’t been awarded in the past? If not, what were some of your favorite prizes that were open to the league to be won?

A – Sports betting gift cards cause I got an itch.

B – I love the league branded stuff for lifetime memento prizes. Honestly all the apparel appeals to me most. Maybe somehow we can make a pair of browns tix a prize at some point?

8.Should anything outside the standard prize money, champion feast & trophy updating occur if a future champion has a flawless undefeated season culminating in a title?

A – I mentioned it before, but I would love to midseason meet up with as many members of our league. Watch some games and just enjoy each other’s company.

B – Everyone pays $2-$3 more next year and that covers the undefeated players buy-in for the year. Also maybe a separate trophy or belt to enshrine them in history.

9.What is/was your favorite Sunday morning comic in the newspaper?

A – Crankshaft

B – Garfield.

10.Is winning the league or is seeing the entire league enjoy the season more important to you?

A – Winning. Must win the cup.

B – Seeing the league enjoy. Probably because im so used to losing its not a big deal to not win. But if everyone has a good year and epic matchups prevail then I would be very happy.

11.After the smashing success of our 10 year anniversary outing, should the league try and organize an annual get together of some sort or just stick to milestone years (10 year, 20 year, 25th etc.)?

A – Every 5 years is good. That way we still try and stay connected. Try to pick a date before the season ends and possibly every 5 years try and do an in person draft.

B – Maybe an annual zoom event? We can watch a cavs game or something while all virtually hangin out? Yes it sounds lame and is kinda lame. But reality of most of us is life and kids and obligations make it hard to commit annually to something in person so zoom hangs are the backup plan.

12.You may not have heard or had time to dwell on it, but what is your opinion of the recently renewed QB rule prohibiting an FFBMCO team from owning QBs from more than two NFL teams? (That is, you can’t have 3 QBs that play on 3 different NFL teams)

A – I’m okay with that. I honestly feel we should only have one qb at a time then during bye week you are able to pick another qb.

B – Im withholding my judgement to see if it has any negative or positive effect. I understand the spirit behind the rule i just wonder if it has a negative effect on owners who lose a qb to injury during a week. But it also could create available starting qbs on the waiver wire so could save you from having to waste a bench slot for a bye week qb etc. (interviewer’s note – this rule was in place last season)

13. Closing remarks/notes.

A – Excited for another year of this great league. Always remember: Don’t be ashamed to fart while you pee, there is no rain without thunder.

B – Go Browns!
