After a very meager 35% participation rate in voting the 3rd commissioner in, anger and frustration started billowing out of FFBMCO headquarters. We as an entire league deserve and demand better. In an effort to engage the 13 of you who were too busy to click a radio button during a 7 day span, the newly formed triumvirate of league commissioning has created a brand new poll, which is accessible on this homepage to the below right.
This new poll, WHERE VOTING IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED, is simple:
Would you like owners to pay $55 instead of $50? If no, you have an extra $5 to your name. If yes, then the league will use that additional $100 in cash to disperse to a winner each month of the season (Sept-Dec).There will be a monthly contest open to all owners. For example, there are always 3 games on Thanksgiving in the Land of the Free & Home of the Brave. November’s contest could be that the team who started the player who scored the most fantasy points on Thanksgiving gets some sort of prize of around $25 of value.
If this passes, anyone can suggest a contest for a certain month. Person closest to total combined points in a Conneaut Joe vs Charlie Sweeney matchup? Person who’s fantasy pick em’s were most accurate? The possibilities are limitless.
PLEASE NOTE – As always, the league will be taking the majority of those who COMPLETE THE POLL BY VOTING BELOW. So if only 3 people vote, and it’s 2-1 yes, $55 is law to play. Majority rules here folks, and to be heard you need to vote. If you don’t like that, go to Russia.
