I wanted to make sure everyone knew that this week – Scott Oeltjen – Owner of Stand Your Ground has invoked his right of backup quarterback, as his QB has been injured he gets waiver priority to his backup QB, in this case Kirk Cousins.

The rule in question (Click on picture):

    DENIED!

As stated since league creation prior to 2013 kickoff, this was put in place for DRAFTED QUARTERBACKS only in an effort to mitigate an FFBMCO owner not being able to start a QB during a matchup. Only one quarterback plays every down of offense. That is not the case for rbs, wrs, tes, kickers, so there’s no need to provide this insurance rule for other positions (which was already established over a year ago).

Again, no new rules have been put in place this year other than increasing the buy in to $55. Owners are encouraged to provide feedback/suggestions in the proper forum folder which will then be discussed amongst the commissioners.

That’s simply not true… The brown’s played two QB’s this week alone but I understand your intention. Where do I need to post to get official consideration from the reich?

The original discussion is titled QB availabilty in the forums. It’s on the 2nd page because that’s how old it is.
    There was no problem.

Season 1 feedback is also in the forums.
    No mention of this there.

You can put it in either of those or you can create a new folder.

I’d respond to your example of Brian Hoyer playing every snap but 2 while Johnny Manziel handed the ball off and threw an incomplete pass as being a use case to abolish the insurance rule….but what can I say about that that hasn’t already been said about Afghanistan?
